Onward! connects people who care with causes that matter. Below are some of our funds fulfilling that motto:

Onward! General Fund -

Purpose: This fund is used for operations of the foundation. It is unrestricted and the majority of its income is generated from the annual 1% management fee assessed on the managed funds.

Senior Services Foundation Fund -

Purpose: Provides earnings to supplement programs at the Senior Center.

The Dolores Library District Fund in Memory of Clifford C. Fossum

Purpose: This fund supports specific library needs and programs of the Dolores Library. The fund was established in memory of a local citizen who supported the Dolores Library.

Southwest Community Leadership Collaborative (SCLC) -

Purpose: SCLC’s programs include:

1. Community Summit Events,
2. High School Leadership  Montezuma
3. Leadership Montezuma
4. Leadership Montezuma Alumni
5. Summit Leadership Series

The Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office Employee Fund -

Purpose: To assist sheriff’s office employees in the event of tragedy such as a house fire or major medical situation. Maintains a minimum fund balance of $10,000 and is funded by an annual golf tournament and private donations.

The Friends of the Cortez Library Fund -

Purpose: Provides additional earnings to the Friends group which in turn provides support to the Cortez Public Library.

The Ute Mountain Roundup Reserve Fund -

Purpose: Creates a reserve fund for future capital improvements at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, including plans for a grand stand roof. (www.utemountainroundup.org)
